On our 11th leg of our Great Loop cruising itinerary we cross Lake Michigan and explore Green Bay.  We’ll depart Traverse City, easily accessible from the airport a short trip from the Marina. We plan to anchor for a night, possibly off of South Manitou Island and the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Seashore before hopping across the lake, to Washington, Island and the start of our exploration of Door County and Green  Bay, Wisconsin.  Here you can explore the island trails, pebble beaches or the lavender farm.  We’ll then head south into Green Bay, with stops like Sister Bay, Fish Creek, Marinette/Menominee, completing this leg of the voyage in Sturgeon Bay.
