From Montreal we will cruise down the St. Lawrence River (northeast) to Sorel where we will anchor or dock.  We’ll then turn south and head towards lake Champlain, first stopping in Handfield at a charming Auberge with fine dining and a pool.  We’ll continue south, stopping at Chambly for a couple of days to explore and prepare for our trip through the Chambly Canal before stopping for the night in Saint Jean sur Richelieu.  We’ll then return to the U.S. maybe in Plattsburg, NY before ending this leg in Burlington, VT.
