Marathon, Florida - Punta Gorda, Florida
This is a special cruise. You’ll board in Marathon the evening of January 11. We’ll spend the day in Marathon on January 12 and then head west to Key West for 2 nights. We’ll then head out to the Dry Tortugas for two nights at Anchor to enjoy this special place. We’ll depart early morning for a stop over in Naples, Fl before disembarking in Punta Gorda FL on January 18 in the afternoon. Almost 62nm west of Key West lies the remote Dry Tortugas National Park. This 100-square mile park is mostly open water with seven small islands. Accessible only by boat or seaplane, the park is known the world over as the home of magnificent Fort Jefferson, picturesque blue waters, superlative coral reefs and marine life, and the vast assortment of bird life that frequents the area. During the two nights anchored in the park, we’ll explore the Fort, use our tender to explore the outer islands, snorkeling, birding and beaching. Key West is known for its fishing, diving, snorkeling, shopping as well as the natural and local(s) scenery. The possibility to take Timeless to a coral reef off the coast of Key West to snorkel one day is likely. Please note the itinerary is a guide and will be adjusted, as needed for weather and the whims of those aboard!
