On this combined fifth and sixth leg of our northbound adventure you will board in Southport, NC. We’ll do a quick trip out to Bald Head to Explore this quite island, that while only 3 miles from Southport feels remote. We’ll then head up the ICW and anchor in the middle of Camp Lejeune, in Mile Hammock Bay. From there we plan to spend two days exploring Beaufort, NC before heading to Pamlico Sound and the charming Outer banks town of Ocracoke, followed by a Manteo and Coinjock and our first lock since leaving Florida before arriving in Norfolk, VA in the afternoon.
